1. Comprising of four projects,  “Blago Through Children’s Eyes”, “Bla-GO Green”, “Young Entrepreneurs of Blago”, and “Difference does not matter”,  “Our Blago of Tomorrow” is aimed to raise awareness of local community issues and create a common language of understanding. The way local generation understands the concept of tolerance and develops their community role models is crucial for the further society development. Through these 4 projects, the group of 21 local University students and 16 international activist will engage in promoting art; environment, tolerance, and entrepreneurship.

2. “Blago Through Children’s Eyes” project aims to engage local children from the Orphanage and the local Art school to expand their understanding of the importance of art in their society. Thus it will not only promote the concept of art but promote LC Blago both locally and internationally.

“Bla-GO Green” intends to raise an awareness of the environment issues among high school students by setting examples and organizing local campaigns. Students along with activist will discuss 3 wide-spread types of environment issues, air and water pollution and recycling, and together implement solutions inside the city.

“Difference does not matter” is aimed to provide a platform for a new level of mutual understanding between the minorities and locals in Blagoevgrad. Such a project will try to defeat stereotypes and promote understanding through events joining these two groups in talent shows and lectures.

“Young Entrepreneurs of Blago” project will introduce high school students of Blagoevgrad to various business and economic concepts and will provide knowledge of how to start their own business. Students will meet local young entrepreneurs to share their challenges, successes, and possible opportunities in the local business market.

3. Successful implementation of the projects will have a great impact on the whole community of Blagoevgrad as it touches very important aspects of the society. Local community, especially high school students, will become more aware of the importance of mutual understanding, respect towards each other as well as towards the planet we inhabit.

4. As an Organizational Committee President, I am very glad to work with people that originally come with different backgrounds, cultures, nationalities, and life perspectives but  are highly motivated to make a difference in the local community. Despite the challenges our project faces, we as a team work together to make the project happen!

5. Initially setting goals for the whole project as well as for each project separately, our expectations from the project flow and its results were mainly referred to the participants’ satisfaction. However, day-by-day our anticipations are expanding. With activists cooperation, we are striving to supply as much knowledge, awareness, and skills as we can to fulfill the community needs; to develop prospective leaders of the local and global community; and to create global citizens.
